Target audience: raw beginners to exercise

The booklet is compact, made of quality materials, and the spiral binding is very handy so it can lie flat. It does seem very thorough for what it gives. I expected more, since there are over 600 muscles in the body.The fact there are far fewer pages should have been a clue. It does not list multiple muscles per page, or where it does, they are referenced as one.

If someone has absolutely no clue about how to stretch or exercise any muscles, then this book might be very handy for them.
Perhaps my expectations were too high. But I figured out nearly all the stretches in this book before I was 18, on my own.
The strengthening exercises are not much more complex. There are a few suggestions that would not normally occur to someone.

It might be an ideal book to require for high school or junior high school Physical Education classes, or an adult who has never done any exercise in their life.

This is a most excellent anatomy book. A friend recommended it to me. She used it as a textbook when she took anatomy classes at the professional school of massage. Clear pictures with detailed explanations that make understanding anatomy easy.

really good book, clear and fun to read. the flash cards are super awesome though. get those instead if you're just looking to learn origin, insertion and action of muscles.
